Frequently Asked Questions: Is your show a "magic show?" Charlie and Checkers draw upon a variety of performing arts to provide a show that is surely going to be a unique experience for all to enjoy. When neccessary, we refer to our show as a "comedy magic act." Does your show have a theme? Each performance provides our audience with a sense of wonder and the message of positive energy. In addition, we build a theme into each show that is consistent with the desires of our client. Charlie and Checkers are most proud of our holiday themed shows during the Halloween and Christmas seasons. Do you carry insurance? Yes, we are fully insured. What are the space and technical requirements for your performance? Our show is designed to provide a high energy experience. We provide state-of-the-art sound and voice equipment for all our performances. The only thing we require is space for our performance. Please view the video on our home page. This should give you a sense of the space that would be optimal. We will further discuss your specific situation when you book the show. How Long is Your Performance? Each show we perform is customized in content and duration to the needs of our client. Our 45 minute performance tends to be the most popular. How far will you travel? Charlie and Checkers love to take road trips, so we will go just about anywhere as long as it fits into our schedule. Give us a call and we will gladly do our best to work something out. A lot of different acts are seen on your website videos. Which tricks can I expect to be in my show? Charlie and Checkers carefully chose effects to make each show most enjoyable. We reserve the right to control the contents of the show, and do not guarantee that any particular effect will be incorporated into the show without prior arrangements. In particular, our larger stage illusions that incorporate our younger sister Amy as an assistant are only available where prior arrangements have been made. There is a surcharge for these additions to the show. These are only general questions we hear often.
